2013 Audi A6 2.0T Quattro Fuel-Economy Ratings Show Up in EPA Database

2013 Audi A6 2.0T Quattro Fuel-Economy Ratings Show Up in EPA Database

The EPA has released fuel-economy numbers for the 2013 Audi A6 2.0T Quattro , and the Volkswagen Group’s blown four paired with an eight-speed transmission has delivered improved efficiency. The downsized A6 has been rated for 20 mpg in the city and 30 on the highway, a bump of 1 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway versus last year’s 3.0-liter supercharged V-6.
Despite the marginal gains in efficiency, the four-cylinder A6 still falls short of the competition. BMW’s 2012 528i xDrive—which is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder of its own—is rated 2 mpg higher in both city and highway driving, and it does so with almost 30 more horsepower. However, the A6 Quattro is cheaper by $5400, at $45,295.

Prospective A6 buyers will have other fuel-efficient options within the next 18 months when the A6 TDI and A6 hybrid arrive in Nigeria.dealer showrooms.
