LinkedIn now looks. The downside is that there are no great improvements to
speak of, but hey LinkedIn is a great site anyway.
As with most things in life, the questions are:

Why blogging is a key part of your LinkedIn Marketing
Here are the facts...
A blog is a great tool
to get people from LinkedIn to your website.
I am
constantly telling people on all my social media websites to go to my blog to
read this great article, or report, or to download this new e-book that I have
just written.
I get over
1,000 people from my LinkedIn account who visit my website every month, just to
read my blog and I win a significant amount of business from doing so. I
recently won 4 days training in Dubai from this exact strategy.

The problem with Social
Media
Whilst I am a real fan of all social media, there is
of course a down side. Imagine, someone works for you for five years. During
that time they build up a LinkedIn personal following of over 1,000 people and
over half of those are your clients. One day this person decides to leave and
goes to work for your biggest competitor. Who owns that list?
In the video below I ask Michael Farrier Partner at Boyes Turner (one
of Thames Valley's leading law firms) about the implications of protecting your
business on Social Media.
Have you looked at
the advanced search in the top right-hand corner? There are some really cool
search tools here, including one which enables you to select a criteria and
monitor new members.
For example - I can search
for accountants in London. Then as soon as a new accountant in London joins
LinkedIn, I get an email me telling me that this new person has joined.
I can then follow up this new member and hopefully win
business from them.

LinkedIn for Business Webinar programme. On the last programme which ends
