A three-storey building along Oil Mill Street in Lagos Island was on fire a few hours ago.
Eyewitnesses said there were children trapped inside the house as neighbours and bystanders scampered round in an effort to put the fire under control.
Several calls were made to the police, fire service and other emergency agencies…upon their arrival, an eyewitness claimed they (fire service) were stoned because they didn't arrive on time…
As at the time of blogging, the fire has been put out and all the trapped children are fine...No causalities according to an eyewitness…
