Last week, we shared a very interesting story of a lady about to get married and she got pregnant for her ex-boyfriend who told her to get rid of the pregnancy.
We actually requested that our listeners should advice the lady. We would like start by expressing our appreciation for the calls, and numerous comments on twitter, Facebook and the blog site The most interesting comment will be that of the lady who wrote that it is a tough decision to make and she feels it is better she gets rid of the pregnancy if she can find a really qualified midwife or doctor. If not, when she delivers, she will know what she wants to do.
She believes keeping the pregnancy will bring back bad memories and it would still make her a part of the guy's life. According to her, many ladies are in this mess and they just may be lucky that they are not pregnant.
She added that the lady is not stupid and she had also being through such with 2 kids from the same guy. She is married now to someone else as his "3rd wife" but those kids still reminds her of their father. They are really wonderful kids, but she would have preferred that kind of man is not their father.
She wishes the lady all the best and advised that guys should please stop deceiving ladies. If you don't wish to marry a lady, please, let her be, instead of wasting her time. Some Guys these days just marry for the sake of the present and, not for future company. (Thank you for your comment.)

Lets move on, quite a number of our listeners advised that she should keep the baby and a few felt she should get rid of the pregnancy. Well, 2 days after we aired the program last week, the lady came to my hospital and I attended to her. Sadly, she informed me that she got rid of the pregnancy immediately after listening to the program. She claimed that a particular lady called in and she found the lady's advice most sensible,so, she terminated the pregnancy.
I am a bit biased about voluntary termination of pregnancy,so, I may not be in the best position to comment on her action, but, I asked if she was alright after the evacuation and she responded very well.
She tried to defend her actions by giving me more information about the guy. She added that he already has 2 kids from 2 different ladies before he got married to another few months ago and that he has been calling her to apologize for telling her to get rid of the pregnancy and that he still loves her.
Now, that really got me on the edge because I kept wondering if there is any kind of Law in this country that protects women from this kind of repeated, unending abuse of emotions. Sincerely speaking, the lady is still in love with the guy despite all that happened. Although, she denied it, but, from our conversation, I doubt if she will not accept him back in the near future.
Is this kind of action punishable under the Law? I will be glad if it is,and too bad if it is not. Kindly let us know what you think. Have a great week ahead.
