A few Sonic RS buyers skateboard and grow beards
Chevy finally will begin building the RS version of the Sonic five-door hatchback this fall, and the company has revealed that it will charge buyers $20,995 to take one home. That base price gets you a 2013 Sonic RS with a six-speed manual transmission—a six-speed automatic is available for an additional $1285. The Sonic RS was first revealed at this year’s Detroit auto show, and it draws heavily from the Aveo RS concept from a few years back.
