Phew!
We're relieved to report the 41st President of the United States is slowly but surely getting healthierl!
Doctors transferred George H.W. Bush from intensive care back over to a normal room in the Houston hospital he's been confined to since around Thanksgiving.
The former President's peeps released an optimistic statement which read:
"President Bush's condition has improved, so he has been moved today from the intensive care unit to a regular patient room at The Methodist Hospital to continue his recovery."
That's wonderful news!! We were really starting to worry!
After originally being hospitalized for bronchitis, the hospital switched the 88-year-old patient and his Secret Service custodians over to the ICU last week because of what doctors called a "stubborn fever."
Political discrepancies aside, H.W. seems like a pleasant fella and we hope he enjoys the speediest of recoveries!
Get well soon, Mr. Prez!
