Wife Stabbed Husband to Death in Port-harcourt Nigeria Over alleged Infidelity

A middle aged woman, Felicia Obi, is currently on the run in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, after she allegedly stabbed her husband, the father of her four children, over alleged infidelity.

 

Unconfirmed reports by neighbours said the randy husband, Jacob Obi,died yesterday [Feb. 16] morning after he was stabbed the previous night by his wife, who had allegedly caught him with a yet-to-be identified mistress in their matrimonial bed.

According to TheNATION, the incident occurred at Owori community in Rumueme, when Jacob’s wife suddenly returned home from a journey unannounced to find her husband with another woman in their matrimonial bed.

 

It was gathered that the infuriated woman drew a kitchen knife and plunged it into her husband’s body before going after the other woman, who promptly fled for her life.

“We found him in a critical condition in a pool of blood and we quickly rushed him to University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) that night but he died yesterday morning”, the source said.

 

Some neighbours who spoke with TheNATION said the fleeing house wife and slain husband quarreled regularly over alleged infidelity, regretting that one partner has now paid the supreme price.

Charity Nna, one of the neighbours, said:

“The late Jacob has been quarreling with the wife on daily basis over this issue of infidelity, though the man has been cheating on the wife. Each time the wife travelled, other women would enter the house but it could not occur to him that the wife would comeback from the village without informing him
